Domestic Armour
2009
Domestic Armour, consists of works made to preserve translations of fragile textiles given from mother to child, transformed in metal + enamel. Stone-set, formed enamelled copper motifs link + drape like chain maille sitting over the breast bone, heavy and fluid, a form of protection, like the arm of one’s mother wrapping around her child. 2008
Public Art beautification project for the town of New Paltz, NY. Creating hand painted bins for recycling clothing and shoes, sponsored by local businesses.

Facets
2009
Oversized truncated gemstone sections in shades of peony pink and ranging in size from 4 to 6 feet in diameter are stacked on a 12 foot diameter pile of broken asphalt hidden behind a small fleet of construction trucks. Installed as part of Site:Sight in New Paltz, NY.
